Teresa Weatherspoon hilariously apologizes for outburst during interview following Kamilla Cardoso and-1
The Chicago Sky and Indiana Fever are squaring off for the third time this month in a matchup that features some of the most intriguing rookies in the WNBA. And yet again it’s another back-and-forth, close contest between the two squads with neither team having more than a six-point lead so far in Sunday’s matchup.
The Fever entered halftime with a 46-45 lead over the Sky, and while Chicago Sky head coach Teresa Weatherspoon was being interviewed by ESPN’s broadcast crew to start the first half, she couldn’t help but let her emotions pour following an electric play.
Chicago rookie Kamilla Cardoso made a tough layup on a play she was fouled on to set the tone and give the Sky back the lead to start the third quarter. Which Weatherspoon couldn’t help but get excited about in a hilarious moment that can be seen below.
