Fans of The Voice love the story that blossomed between Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. The couple met when they were both judges on the hit singing competition. After meeting in 2014, they soon became a couple. Shelton has gushed over how lucky he is to have her. He’s also voiced how, in every sense of the word, Gwen saved him from hitting rock bottom. Blake Shelton Has Nothing But Praise For His Wife
The Voice OG coach Blake Shelton has nothing but love for his wife. He actually credits her with “saving” him. He has said for years that Gwen Stefani transformed his life and made him a better person.
Shelton said it’s as if she saved him from falling off a cliff. He said, “I think it’s pretty self-explanatory. We found each other at a very low point in each other’s lives. She kept me from going to the absolute bottom, you know? It was like literally falling off a cliff, and a hand reached out and caught me, is what it feels like.”
These two seem to always make each other smile. When Blake talks about his bride, he grins from ear to ear. He said, “I’ve never had that with somebody where it just felt like, no matter what, she has my back. It’s the greatest feeling ever.”

Nothing Has Changed
After being together for so many years, Blake Shelton says that Gwen Stefani is his best friend. He even still gets butterflies around her, in fact, every time he sees her.
How do these two keep their relationship healthy? Shelton said, “Well, I just try not to screw up. I mean, she’s Gwen Stefani. If I mess that up, that’s the screw-up of a lifetime, right?”
It just so happens that Blake isn’t the only one to feel this way. Gwen also loves gushing about her country music superstar husband. She feels like God put him on earth to love her. She considers him to be her second chance at life.
Both Blake and Gwen caught some heat after the AMA’s this year. Fans were not happy that these two, along with many other celebrities, had pre-taped performances that were shown. They were not there live as many thought they would be.

Shelton responded to the critics on social media. He said, “Just now seeing these stories about Gwen and I pretaping our performances for the AMA’s. We came and performed when the show asked us to.. Really nothing else to say.”
Aside from the AMA controversy, Blake is also planning a television comeback. He, along with Taylor Sheridan, has teamed up to have a brand new singing competition. The show will air this fall on CBS and be called The Road.
Right now, there is not really a lot of details out about Shelton’s new series. Will you be watching?
