Brooklyn goes for 2-0 Sunday afternoon in Las Vegas vs. the Los Angeles Clippers. On ESPN+ The went down by 15 with 5:19 left in the fourth quarter in Friday’s opener vs. the Pacers but some heroic offense by Jalen Wilson, heroic defense by Noah Clowney and a game-ender from Keon Johnson and all went well in Vegas as the Nets won in overtime, 97-95.
The Nets had five players in double figures, led by the sophomore Wilson with 25. The 6’8” forward put up a 5-of-9 tally from three overall, including two deep shots in the last minute and a half, the second to tie the game with 15 seconds left. Clowney had 14 points and four blocks and put the clamps on the Pacers late. Johnson, in addition to the 14-foot fadeaway from the baseline to win it, scored 16 and added six rebounds, five assists, two blocks, a steal and had only one turnover compared to his teammates’ 20. The squads’ two Martin wings, Tyrese and Jaylen, had 11 and 12.

The Clippers come into the game with a perfect 1-0 record. On Friday, Jordan Miller’s game-high 36-point tally spearheaded the Los Angeles Clippers to an 88-78 victory over the Denver Nuggets.
