However, he sees his daughter Naomi Hawthorne’s (Arielle Prepetit) clients as a real threat, as their allegations could indeed take down his law firm and ruin his reputation, along with his partner, Mike Davis (Pierce Lackey), who was the one responsible.
Bill knows that Naomi is a great lawyer, and she knows all his tricks, and does believe that she has a chance in court.
This is why he reached out with an attractive settlement offer, but Naomi convinced her clients that going back to work at the law firm was a bad idea, as there was no stopping the sexual harassment from happening again, and no further legal action could be taken if they agreed to the settlement. Now Bill will have to get creative to put a stop to this.
Bill Hamilton Recently Had A Stress Related Episode
While getting worked up talking with Naomi about the lawsuit, Bill started having trouble breathing, and his hand began to tingle. He was also sweating profusely, and Naomi looked very worried about her father.
It passed, and Bill seemed to be fine following the episode that had occurred, but he could use this to his advantage at a later date in order to make Naomi feel even more guilty, as she already did feel guilty about possibly causing it.
Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) even encouraged her daughter to back down, as it would not be good for her to go up against her father.
Bill Hamilton Fakes More Episodes
As Naomi becomes more determined to beat her father at his own game, Bill realizes that he will have to play on Naomi’s guilt in order to get her to settle the lawsuit.
Even though he is feeling fine, and having no more episodes of tingling, heavy breathing, or profuse sweating, no one would put it past Bill to fake these symptoms.
He might even fake a heart attack to really hit Naomi where it hurts. He could easily do this during another argument with Naomi in the office, and be taken to the hospital.
This would play on Naomi’s guilt, as she might start to consider that her mother was right and decide that she must give the case to another lawyer, or even settle.
Bill Hamilton Is Hospitalized
Bill will be rushed to the hospital, and he of course, will have to continue to pretend to have symptoms. A doctor at Garland Memorial Hospital would tell Naomi that Bill seems to be experiencing the symptoms of a heart attack, and they need to act quickly.
Bill would count on Naomi to feel conflicted, and decide that the stress of the lawsuit isn’t worth it, and that she must make the decision about the future of the lawsuit.
Bill would tell his doctor that he is fine, but he must not tell anyone what his condition is. Naomi would go see her father, and tell him that they can work something out, as she does not want the stress of this lawsuit to affect his health anymore.
