Days of Our Lives is shutting down rumors that beloved legend Susanne Rogers (Maggie) is retiring. The 82-year-old actress continues to be a pivotal part of the show, and that’s not changing anytime soon.A spokesperson for the hit Peacock soap addressed the online speculation that Rogers was leaving the show. As Parade reported, Days of Our Lives has been renewed through Season 63.The Peacock soap will celebrate its 60th anniversary in November. According to SOD, Maggie will play a major part in that, as well as the Titan DiMera drama and the downfall of Xander (Paul Telfer) and Sarah’s (Linsey Godfrey) marriage.Rogers debuted as Maggie in 1973. The actress and Maggie have been through the wringer during their five decades in Salem. Days of Our Lives honored Rogers’ 50th anniversary as Maggie in August 2023.Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on Peacock.
