Teen Mom’s Kailyn Lowry reveals estranged parent is dying and she plans to ‘confront’ family member on deathbed
TEEN Mom star Kailyn Lowry revealed her estranged parent is dying and on hospice, as she plans to travel to say goodbye.

Kailyn revealed her dad has stage four COPDMTV
The episode started off with Kailyn revealing her father, Raymond Lowry, is on hospice after suffering stage four COPD, which is a lung disease that causes breathing problems.
“I know you’re in the dead dad’s club… I will be joining that as well,” she said.
Kailyn said she feels “conflicted” over her father’s impending death, as she heard the news through her aunt.
“Obviously I don’t have a relationship with him and never did, but I feel like I didn’t ever got the answers I have been looking for.
“In 2019, I sent him a message asking him to take a DNA test and he told me he would. I sent him one and he refused to take it.”
Kailyn explained she believes Raymond’s father is a different man, meaning she has other family members she would like to connect with.
She continued, “I feel like you don’t get to die without answering all my questions I have.
“I want to know why he left. I want to know why he didn’t try harder. I want to know why he just gave up. I want to know why he didn’t just give up on me but turned around and did the same thing to my sister.
“My sister never really had answers. I feel he owes us both explanations. I am mad at him… I want to know how someone walks through this earth and does the bare minimum to get by in life. Where is your head at?”
Kailyn said she plans to travel to Dallas, Texas to see him, but has no plans to attend his funeral.
The first and last time she saw her father was in 2009 when she was pregnant with her son Isaac with her ex Jo Rivera.
On 16 and Pregnant, viewers watched Kailyn travel to Dallas to meet her father.
She was overjoyed when he picked her up at the airport, as she joked about his short height.
But when she went to his home and learned they had nothing in common, she was disappointed.
When she asked if he would be around more, he seemed hesitant.
Kail is also estranged from her mom Suzi Irwin.
On 16 and Pregnant, Kail lived with her then-boyfriend Jo’s parents because of her mother’s boyfriends and substance abuse issues.
While Kailyn tried to have a relationship with her during Teen Mom 2, the mother and daughter do not speak today.
Kailyn considered reaching out to her mother to tell her about Ray’s condition.
