Flounder in the Fog

It was a nice enough day today, but man was it chilly on the water! There was an extremely prominent fog bank over Ocean City for most of the day, but when the wind picked up this afternoon it was blown right offshore. It made for a cool, breezy day on the water, but it was still worth it.
I had the pleasure of fishing with my "little" brother Jimmy and my very good friend, and designer of the Deadly Double, Dale Timmons today. We didn't have a ton of luck, but we had a lot of fun reminiscing times in Ocean City and just chewing the fat. Jimmy caught and released a short flounder, his first of the season, and I lucked into my first keeper flounder of the season. The fat 19.5"er ate an orange Otter Tail "straight long" tipped with a minnow behind Assateague Island.
Brian Brannan fished the inshore ocean and found a couple of keeper tautog over structure.
David Borrell, Brian Weibley and Rich Morder had three keeper flounder to 19.5" today, and Brian added a nice 10 pound bluefish from behind Assateague.
Tom Berry caught this nice black drum from the surf at 120th Street in Ocean City today.
Lamont Hilbert caught an 18" keeper flounder and a nice 30" bluefish behind Assateague Island this afternoon.
Orange was the ticket in Folly Creek last week too! Check it out!
