Teen Punched Man, 87, Who Asked Him To Move From Steps: Philly Police
PHILADELPHIA — A teenage boy is being sought after police said he punched a nearly 90-year-old man who asked him to move from the steps at a building's entrance.According to police, the incident occurred at about 3:07 p.m. April 24 on the 1000 block of Arch Street.The man, 87, was trying to get into a building on that block. However, police said the teen was sitting on the building's stoop.The man asked the boy to move, and that's when they say the boy punched the man in the head, causing him to fall to the ground.It's unclear if the man was hurt or how severe his injuries may have been.The suspect is described as a black teen with a thin build who was wearing a dark New Balance t-shirt, dark pants, and gray sneakers.If you see this suspect, do not approach him and instead call 911 immediately.To submit a tip via telephone, dial 215-686-8477 or text a tip to 215-686-8477.
