Love Island’s Chris Hughes takes aim at ex Maura Higgins as he mocks her ‘drunk Brits kiss’ with Danny Jones
LOVE Island alum Chris Hughes has taken a savage swipe at ex Maura Higgins following her “drunken kiss” with McFly’s Danny Jones at The BRITs.
The reality star turned ITV racing pundit, 32, stuck in the knife with yet another comment sure to stir the pot as the aftermath of the pair’s peck unfolds.

The Sun was first to reveal the I’m A Celeb stars’ kiss at a boozy bash following the main awards ceremony.
It came as married Star Girl guitarist Danny, 38, and single Love Island star Maura, 34, were in high spirits at Universal Music’s celeb-filled bash.
Now Chris, who was linked to the Glow Up Ireland anchor back in 2021, has taken to his Instagram Stories to comment.
He posted an image showing him watching TV in a dark room with a glass table in front of him.
Chris added the words: “I wasn’t at the Brits … and I wasn’t kissing anyone x.”
Four years ago, Maura and Chris were captured on a sweet date day at Thorpe Park.
At the time, Maura was spotted giggling and getting up close and personal with Chris, who split with former Little Mix star Jesy Nelson in 2020.
Sparking romance rumours, the pair walked side-by-side throughout the park, and at one point Maura even reached in to whisper in his ear.
They continued to fuel the speculation as they left the NTA together in the same year.
BOOZY KISS
We were first to report how Maura and Danny were seen laughing at Sony Music’s party around 4am on Sunday morning.
An onlooker said: “Danny and Maura seemed to be having a great time.
“They looked like they had a brief drunken kiss.
“Danny and Maura seem to have a close friendship after meeting in the jungle.
“They were talking and laughing for ages.”

2018 – It wasn’t surprising fan favourites Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer won the show, as they were strong throughout. But sadly things didn’t last. STATUS: Broken up.
2017 – Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies had lots of ups and downs in the villa but went on to win. STATUS: Broken up.
2016 – Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde were together from the start of the series, and since they won the show they’ve had two kids and are married. STATUS: Still together.
2015 – Despite poor Jess Hayes being Max Morley’s second choice on the show, they did win – but they didn’t last as a couple. STATUS: Broken up.
The pair sat at different tables for the Brits ceremony in London’s O2 Arena on Saturday night.
Afterwards they joined stars at Universal’s after-party in 180 Studios on The Strand in central London.
At just before 3am, Danny and Maura walked into the foyer together — and onlookers filmed them appearing to kiss.
Danny and Maura then grinned as they were photographed leaving alongside Oti.
He moved away to speak to others while Maura walked towards a chauffeur-driven car, while shouting Danny’s name.
An hour later, Danny and Maura arrived at Sony’s do at the Nobu Hotel in Portman Square.
An onlooker said: “Danny and Maura were still grinning and joking about.
“Inside the party, it appeared to be just the two of them.
“The night was winding down as it was so early in the morning and a lot had gone home.”
Danny has been married to Georgia Horsley since 2014.
