Elden Ring: How To Get the White Mask
If you are one of the many tarnished wondering how to get the white mask in Elden Ring, this guide will ensure that you can procure it. Getting to the White Mask location in FromSoftware’s latest is a little complicated.
That is because you might have to use a couple of shortcuts if you are early in the game. But don’t worry, even if you have only interacted with the NPC once, you will have no trouble following through this guide.
How To Get The White Mask in Elden Ring
Go to the location marked by the pointer to have the portal in your sights.
Hidetaka Miyazaki’s Elden Ring has a huge map and before you can know how to get the White Mask in the game. First, head to Mohgwyn Palace by playing through Varre’s questline.

Another way would be to use a portal located in the Consecrated Snowfield. Get to the marked location, as shown in the image above and you will see a portal.
Although the portal is hard to miss once you reach the Consecrated Snowfield, refer to this picture if you aren’t able to find it.
The portal will have splashes of blood on and beside it. It will also be incredibly difficult to miss. The picture above shows what it looks like. After using the portal you will be teleported to a site of grace close to the Blood Lake’s shore.
Ensure that you are at least level 90 before facing various enemies close to the Blood Lake.
Once you use the portal, you will be teleported to Blood Lake’s shore. If you are under level 90 ensure that you sneak past all the enemies until you reach the Blood Lake.

After doing so you will begin to get invaded by hostile NPCs known as ‘Nameless White Masks’. Stay careful around them as they will do bleeding damage to you. Be extra careful of their swarm of flies as it will stack up additional bleeding damage.
You will need to head to this location and slay the Recusant to procure the glorious (and creepy) white mask.
Also, not all of them will drop the precious White Mask. You will need to get to the area shown in the picture above and kill the Nameless White Mask who spawns here.
Tip
If you don’t see Nameless White Mask invading your territory, ensure that you haven’t already defeated Mohg, Lord of Blood.
After you slay him, you will not need any clues that tell you how to get the white mask. You will see a ‘Recusant Vanquished’ Screen and will instantly get the White Mask and the war surgeon armor set.

Now that you have these Elden Ring items, you can show them off by equipping them for your character. Equip this mask positively if you are rocking a Bleed build in FromSoftware’s latest. This is because this piece of hardware will give you a 10% Bleed Damage buff.
