CHESTER BOROUGH, NJ — The deadline to file for candidacy for the school board election has passed, and a contested race to the Chester Borough Board of Ed. is underway. Four candidates are vying for three spots on the board of education. Three incumbent candidates are seeking re-election, with one newcomer looking for a spot on the board. The three incumbent candidates are Adam Colicchio, Adam Sorchini, and Melissa Mauro-Duffy. The three candidates are each seeking a three-term, all running under separate slogans. Also seeking a three-year term is newcomer Tracy Ali, who is not running under a slogan, according to the Morris County Clerk’s Office.
