Evo 2025: How to watch fighting games’ biggest event of the year

Evolution Championship Series 2025, the biggest event in the fighting game community that’s better known as Evo, is going down live from Las Vegas this weekend. Evo 2025 kicks off on Friday, Aug. 1, beginning at 10 a.m. PDT/1 p.m. EDT and wraps up on Sunday, Aug. 3, at 10 p.m. PDT/Monday, Aug. 4, 1 a.m. EDT with the Grand Finals.
Evo boasts a lineup of niche and mainstream attractions this year, with titles such as Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, Guilty Gear Strive, Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising, Under Night In-Birth 2 Sys-Celes, Mortal Kombat 1, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, and Marvel vs Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes.
This year’s fighting game championship also features an extended lineup of games that will have tournament play, like Rivals of Aether 2, Virtua Fighter 5 REVO, The King of Fighters 15, Killer Instinct (2013), Samurai Shodown (2019), Capcom vs. SNK 2, Guilty Gear XRD Rev 2, and Blazblue: Centralfiction.
However, if you’re like me, then you won’t be at the Las Vegas Convention Center to attend the event in person. So, we have crafted a helpful guide to watch Evo 2025 from the comfort of your home.

How to watch Evo 2025 on Twitch and YouTube
Similar to years past, Evo 2025 will be streamed across seven different Twitch channels. If you want to keep up with the main competitions, you’ll need to stay glued to the main Evo YouTube channel and the main Evo Twitch channel.
There are also two additional channels for the extended lineup at Evo 2025.

Evo2 — Street Fighter 6 pools (Friday and Saturday), Street Fighter 6 top 24 (Saturday)
Evo3 — Tekken 8 pools (Friday and Saturday), Tekken 8 top 24 (Saturday)
Evo4 — Mortal Kombat 1 pools and top 24 & Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves pools (Friday), Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves  pools and top 24 (Saturday)

If you’re overwhelmed by the number of channels and games offered at Evo 2025, you can use a site like MultiTwitch, where you can watch every channel at the same time.
Furthermore, the FGC event will include the Evo 2025 Showcase, streaming live on the main Evo Twitch and YouTube channel, which will feature interviews with producers and panels for various fighting games.
