The former undisputed heavyweight champion hasn't competed in a professional contest since being retired on his stool by Kevin McBride in 2005.
At the time, he admitted he had 'lost his fighting guts', but 19 years later the 58-year-old is gearing up to duke it out with a man 31 years his junior.
Concerns have been raised about Tyson returning to the ring at his advanced age, but the heavy-handed phenom is showing no signs of slowing down in his recent sparring footage.

Of course, these are only short clips and we are still yet to see how Tyson's gas tank with fare over eight two-minute rounds.
In his prime, Tyson was averaging 34 punches per round, which is just below the 41-punch heavyweight average.
However, in his most recent outing against Roy Jones Jr, he threw just 24.1 punches per round.

To put that into perspective, Zhilei Zhang, who has the lowest punch output out of the current crop of heavyweights averages 27.6 punches per round.
Meanwhile, heavyweight king Oleksandr Usyk comes in at 47.6.
Paul is far more active than Tyson by comparison with 34.7 punches per round - although that was at cruiserweight.
The extra timber he is putting on for his clash with Tyson should result in a decline in those numbers.
