FREAK'S STORE Drops 2Pac 'R U Still Down? (Remember Me)' T-Shirt
Tokyo retailer FREAK'S STORE has created an oversized T-shirt lauding hip-hop legend Tupac Shakur's sixth studio album, R U Still Down? (Remember Me).The front of the design houses the record's cover art, which features a close-up shot of 2Pac's face with two fingers to his mouth. The back of the T-shirt, meanwhile, pictures the album's full tracklist in vinyl format. Popular songs like "Redemption," "Hellrazor," "Thug Style," "Nothing to Lose," "Let Them Thangs Go," "Hold On, Be Strong," "16 on Death Row," "Only Fear of Death" and many more remind onlookers of the late artist's immense influence on the hip-hop genre. The record, which dropped on November 25, 1997, was 2Pac's second posthumous release and the first to come from his mother's imprint, Amaru Entertainment. It featured almost entirely unreleased material recorded between 1992 and 1994, from the same time period as his other albums, Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z., Thug Life: Volume 1 and Me Against the World. We Got Kidz Productions oversaw the record's posthumous production, alongside QDIII, Soulshock & Karlin, Mike Mosley and Ricky Rouse.FREAK STORE's 2PAC R U Still Down? (Remember Me) T-shirt is now available to purchase via Daytona Park for ¥6,600 JPY. Take a closer look at the design in the gallery above.Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
