WEATHER ALERT: A Heat Advisory is in effect for today through Wednesday. Stay hydrated and try to find ways to stay cool.
Good morning! Hot stuff for the next few days with high humidity. There is relief in sight, however! Late in the week, the temperatures and humidity will drop.
For now, a Heat Advisory is in effect for most of our area through Wednesday. Each day will see feels like temperatures between 95 and 103.
The peak heat index will be up around 100 to 103° the next few days, but some relief is on the way for Thursday and Friday.

TODAY
Patchy coastal fog will burn off to some hazy sunshine today. Temperatures will climb through the 70s this morning with very muggy conditions. This afternoon, afternoon highs will be around 90, but with the humidity, it'll feel more like 100° away from the south coast.

Highs inland will be in the low 90s, but at the coast and the beaches the highs will be in the low to mid 80s. There could be an isolated t'storm around in the afternoon and evening, mainly inland.

Overnight lows will be in the low 70s with warm and humid conditions. Patchy coastal fog will develop once again.
TOMORROW
It'll be a little hotter once again with highs in the low 90s in the Providence area, but the heat index will be in the low 100s. It'll be pretty warm even at the south coast with afternoon highs in the mid 80s.
LOOKING AHEAD
Wednesday will be hot and humid once again with some showers and t'storms around during the afternoon. Highs will be around 90. Relief arrives for Thursday.
