Coronation Street star stunned as psychic tells her to ‘cancel her year’ as major trouble lies ahead amid return to soap
CORONATION Street star Kimberley Hart-Simpson has told how a psychic has warned her to ‘cancel her year’ as trouble apparently lies ahead.
The 37-year-old has made a dramatic return to Weatherfield, as her character, the former sex worker Nicky Wheatley, has come back to support her friend Daniel Osbourne, who has been implicated in the disappearance of Lauren Bolton.

Now the actress has taken to social media to share the psychic’s unsettling insight.
She says: “I went to a psychic reading yesterday and everytime she pulled a card she said, nooooo” and basically told me to cancel this year off, as its not going to be good for me.”
Luckily her fans are delighted to see her on telly again after she was last seen on the ITV soap back in 2022 and recently the Sun revealed she was set to make a comeback.
The Welsh-born star first arrived on the cobbles back in 2020 playing the role of sex worker Nicky.
She struck up a surprising friendship with Dan Osborne, after he enlisted her services following the death of his wife Sinead Tinker.
Now that Daniel has been linked to the disappearance of Lauren, Nicky who has since turned her back on sex work to become an outreach worker, has returned to off her old friend support.
Kimberley who now juggles acting gigs with furniture upholstery says she enjoys playing a strong woman.
She says: She’s a powerful woman. I respect her immensely. “She’s unapologetically herself and owns her history.
To a degree, it’s celebrated. It’s not this negative thing that she was a sex worker. How amazing for a soap to portray a woman from a sex worker to an outreach worker, empowering her rather than someone who should be looked down upon.”
Having sadly lost her father, a drummer and avid corrie fan, back in 2007, Kimberely also admitted that she was delighted to be asked back to the soap.
“I was determined to get on because of what it meant to my dad and his request,” she said of her Corrie stint.
“It’s been a long slog to get on the show. I went for so many parts over the years – like shopper number two. When you’re rejected for something you really want, it lays heavy. So when I was asked to come back it was an easy yes,”
Hart-Simpson also said that she’d always thought she’d be back to Corrie thanks to Nicky’s open exit storyline.
“When Nicky last was in, there wasn’t an exit storyline, she was just dropped off in a taxi at home. So I’m presuming she’d gone to have a brew,” she said.
“Corrie was never done in my head, it was just a dot dot dot. So when they asked me to come back with this storyline I was always going to say yes.”
