District 202 To Host Back-To-School Fair: 'Plainfield Is So Rich With Resources For Families'
PLAINFIELD, IL — Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202 will host a back-to-school fair Aug. 2 for parents of children between the ages of 3 and 22. The event is planned from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Plainfield Central High School, 24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive.The fair will feature more than guest speakers, food trucks and more than 60 family resource vendors specializing in tutoring, grief, recreation, disability services and more. "Plainfield is so rich with resources for families that this is a great opportunity to highlight what those resources are and how families can access them," said Tim Albores, director of student services for high school and alternative programs at District 202.These events are also planned at the fair:The Hidden in Plain Sight Trailer will be open for viewing.
