Activities include setting up and taking down tents, setting up and folding tables and chairs, hanging signs, folding chairs and tables, and loading the truck for storage after the market. Date: 6/9 from 10-11 a.m. and 3-3:45 p.m.; SundaysOrganization: Mount Kisco Farmer's MarketLocation: Mount KiscoThrift Shop VolunteersFriendly volunteers with a love for retail, fashion, or simply giving back to their community are needed to assist with the volunteer-run CAREERS Thrift Boutique, which benefits people with disabilities. Activities include assisting customers, managing the cash register, tidying the shop, and returning clothing to their proper spots in the store. Volunteers must be 18+ and will receive basic training. This project is perfect for a retired electrical contractor or engineer looking to share their expertise with the community. This gardening program is designed to teach young people about conservation and healthy food.
