My Wife Has No Emotion Adds 2 More Cast Members, Releases Newlywed Illustration
Two new cast members are joining the upcoming My Wife Has No Emotion TV anime series, along with the release of a newlywed illustration between the series’ main characters. The anime is scheduled to be released in Japan on July 2, 2024.
The newlywed illustration features lead characters Takuma and Mina in newlywed formal clothing.

Meanwhile, the new cast members include Risae Matsuda as the young boy Licht Nishionji and Yuki Wakai as the care robot Mamoru.
They join a voice cast that includes:
• Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Takuma Kosugi
• Konomi Inagaki as Mina
• Yoshino Aoyama as Akari Kosugi
• Yu Serizawa as Super Mina
Fumihiro Yoshimura (Endo and Kobayashi Live! The Latest on Tsundere Villainess Lieselotte) is directing the anime series, with Mitsutaka Hirota (Sweet Reincarnation) as series screenwriter, and Zenjiro Ukulele (co-chief animation director for The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses Episode 4, Girlfriend, Girlfriend Episode 1, 2, 4 et al.) as character designer. Tezuka Productions is handling the animation production for the adaptation.
The original sci-fi romantic comedy manga by Jiro Sugiura was first launched in Kadokawa’s Comic Flapper on August 5, 2019. Seven tankobon volumes have been released as of October 2023. The series began as a webcomic on Twitter and Pixiv on March 19, 2019.

Takuma is a single guy who does nothing but go to work and come home. Too tired to do chores, he decides to get a robot to cook and keep house. “Mina-chan” is such a good housekeeper, Takuma jokes that she should become his wife. Mina takes Takuma’s joke seriously, and slowly the two start doing more things together, like having a picnic outside. As time goes by, Takuma starts to fall for Mina, but can a human and a robot ever have an equal, loving relationship?
