Brittany Mahomes’ Little Athlete-in-the-Making Son Bronze Threw a Fit on the Golf Course in the Cutest Video
Much like toddlers, athletes are motivated by play. The thrill of the game never gets old — so imagine their reaction if you try to tell them to stop. (Hint: It’s not pretty!) Patrick and Brittany Mahomes’ 17-month-old son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon recently demonstrated this in the cutest new video, proving he’s a little athlete-in-the-making!

The Kansas City Currents co-owner shared a video of Bronze on her Instagram story on Wednesday, per PEOPLE. The little cutie is wearing a brown shirt, khaki shorts, and white Crocs as he lies on the grass on the golf course and cries.
“This is what happens when we tell him ‘golf is over,’” Brittany says in the video, showing Bronze rolling around the grass screaming — and gripping a little golf ball in his hand.
Is he not the cutest thing ever? Brittany comments, “Ball is life!” in the video, captioning it “Dude loves golf 😂” (PEOPLE has screenshots HERE.) He has a valid point! Being told to stop playing and go home would make anyone cry, especially if you love sports as much as Bronze does.

In an interview with SheKnows in March, Brittany opened up about Bronze’s love of sports. “Bronze is definitely a sports guy. You give him any type of ball and he will have the time of his life,” she said. “He loves basketball. He loves football. I mean, we took him to the park recently, and he can spot a ball from a mile away and he’ll sprint to that ball and play with it until he’s tired. So I definitely think he’s gonna like sports.”
“Yeah, I have to say I never saw that coming,” she jokingly added.
Brittany and the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback are also parents to 3-year-old daughter Sterling. It’s obvious how much they prioritize family time. After being named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People in the World in April, the three-time Super Bowl champion told the outlet that he considers his kids when thinking about his career.

“I would love to play that long,” Mahomes said, reflecting on the careers of other NFL greats like Tom Brady and Joe Montana. “At the same time, I want to be there for my daughter. If I can do that, I’ll continue to play. But if I feel like it’s taking away from my family time, that’s when I’ll know it’s time to go.”
If Bronze inherits his dad’s skill and his perspective, he’s going to grow up to be a superstar.
