'Masters of the Universe' Quietly Reveals the Entire He-Man Reboot Cast

It's an all-new Grayskull out there.
For the first time since 1987, a live-action feature film version of He-Man is finally happening. While casting news for this film has been leaking out slowly since 2024, Mattel and the official Masters of the Universe franchise quietly confirmed the entire cast in a recent social media post.
On February 23, Mattel and Masters revealed the entire line-up for the new He-Man movie and confirmed that as of right now, the movie is in production.
"By the Power of Grayskull, filming for the new Masters of the Universe movie has officially kicked off!" the social media post declared, adding. "We are thrilled to introduce our incredible cast, bringing your favorite characters to life and a few new additions along the way."
First Masters of the Universe Photo
Just one day after the cast was confirmed on social media, Amazon Studios (who is producing the new film) released the first official photo from Masters of the Universe.

In it, we see a close-up of He-Man (Nicholas Galitzine) holding the Power Sword. The photo doesn't show anything else, but the sword certainly does look the way it should, as does the size of He-Man's muscles.

The confirmed cast for the new Masters of the Universe includes:
Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man
Camila Mendes as Teela
Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn
Jared Leto as Skeletor
Idris Elba as Man-at-Arms
Morena Baccarin as the Sorceress
Sam C. Wilson as Trap Jaw
Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Fisto
Kojo Attah as Triclops
Jon Xue Zhang as Ram Man
Hafthor Bjornsson as Goat Man
Charlotte Riley as Queen Marlena
James Purefoy as King Randor
Sasheer Zamata as Suzie
Christian Vunipola as Hussein
Other than Suzie and Hussein, all of these characters originated in the classic 1983 cartoon. The new characters are likely connected to the fact that the story of this Masters of the Universe will change the origin of He-Man. In the new movie, Prince Adam will crash to Earth as a 10-year-old and be "separated from his magical Power Sword" according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Presumably, Suzie and Hussein will be Adam's friends on Earth, before he regains his birthright as He-Man and returns to the planet Eternia.
