Reform could win FOUR seats in General Election as new boss Nigel Farage boasts ‘this will grow, just watch’
REFORM could win FOUR seats at the General Election as polling figures soared following Nigel Farage’s return.
The Brexit champion’s latest comeback could see the upstart political group snag surprise gains from the Tories – as Farage boasted the number could still “grow”.

YouGov’s top pollster Patrick English said Farage’s return to frontline campaigning as an MP candidate in Clacton and as party leader would hand Reform a boost in its target areas like Hartlepool and Skegness.
Mr English told The Independent that Farage’s candidacy “significantly increases the odds” that Reform will win seats in the House of Commons for the first time.
YouGov’s first large-scale poll of the campaign had put Reform on zero seats, with its only incumbent MP, Lee Anderson, set to lose his Ashfield constituency to Labour.
But Mr English explained: “I do think that Farage intervening significantly increases the odds of Reform UK winning one, perhaps even two seats in Westminster.
“You might even put an upper band of four on that, depending on what exactly happens between now and 4 July.
“Certainly, it will improve Reform’s prospects.
“It will give them a highly competent, highly experienced strong messenger in Nigel Farage to go out, not just in Clacton, but around the rest of the country, to try and deliver that Reform UK message.”
Farage said of the pollster’s comments: “Now YouGov says Reform UK can win seats at the election.
“Something is happening out there.”
The party has consistently polled between 11 and 13 per cent but was not projected to win seats under the first past the post election system.
In an MRP poll released by Survation last night, Reform scored three seats – although the party did not lead in any one constituency.
The polling company explained: “The model estimates that they have a one in four chance of winning Gainsborough and North West Norfolk, and a one in five chance of winning Clacton.
“While these estimates do not take into account Farage’s candidacy in Clacton, our constituency poll conducted in January showed that if he stood in the election, he would overtake the Conservative candidate Giles Watling by 10%.”
The MRP also put the Conservatives at just 71, which would be their worst result ever, and Labour at a whopping 487.
Reacting to the poll, Farage, 60, posted online: “This is the first poll that shows Reform winning seats.
“This will grow, you watch.
Farage has repeatedly touted his comeback as the first stage in a five-year plan to make Reform the main right-wing party instead of the “divided” Tories.
The campaigner even believes that by 2029, Reform could be the most popular party in the country, adding he felt “something’s happening” among younger voters as well as the party’s traditional older base.
It came after Farage made a fiery first campaign speech in Clacton, in Essex, on Tuesday.
He urged the seaside town to send him to Parliament to “be a bloody nuisance” before promising: “You won’t get any woke, PC, nonsense from me.”
The leading Brexiteer sent Tories panicking when he announced he would stand in the election and replace struggling Reform leader Richard Tice.
Addressing the large crowd, he said: “I will stand up and fight for you, I will give you my best and I will do what I have done for the last quarter of a century in politics.
“I will be unafraid, despite what everybody says, despite what names they call me, they are so stupid it only encourages me really, in fact, send me to Parliament to be a bloody nuisance.”
