Sinister Noah makes dark promise after fight triggers fresh hell in Coronation Street

Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) was left rattled this week after bumping into Noah on Coronation Street – the man who subjected him to horrific conversion therapy.
It was clear that Noah still held his homophobic views as he revealed that he was hosting a new session at the community centre, and invited Theo along.
Viewers will know that Theo has had a tough journey in coming to terms with his sexuality, and in recent scenes Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) witnessed first-hand how he is still finding things difficult.
When approached by an old friend, Theo made out that he was seeing a woman, and when questioned by Billy he pointed out that it was his choice who he came out to and when.
In tonight’s episode, Billy revealed the details of their conversation to Todd, as he worried about Theo’s distant behaviour.
It didn’t take long for them to start putting things together, and they decided to head to Noah’s group in search of Theo.

When they arrived, Theo was nowhere to be seen, but that didn’t stop them trying to put a stop to Noah’s vile practices.
As Noah tried to preach to them about how homosexuality was ‘sinful’, Todd Grimshaw lashed out, which only riled Noah up further.
Meanwhile, George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) arrived home to find Theo upset, and he was quick to provide him with a shoulder to cry on.
As Theo detailed how Noah was determined to convert him, George pointed out that if Theo was happy in his life with Todd, then he shouldn’t let Noah have any power over him.

When Todd arrived home amid their chat, he confessed to attacking Noah, pointing out that what he was doing was much more evil than being gay.
Theo assured Todd that he wasn’t going to give in to pressure from Noah, as he had finally accepted who he was and found happiness with Todd.
However, when Theo went out to get a drink, he bumped into Noah, who wasted no time in goading him once more.

He insisted that he was going to make Todd face the consequences of his actions – not just for the physical attack, but also for ‘undoing his hard work’ with Theo.
Theo retorted that there was no need to go after Todd, as he was simply being true to the person God made him to be.
Unfortunately, in Noah’s warped worldview, Todd was doing the work of the devil, and he swore not to stop until he had saved Theo.
Will Todd and Theo ever be able to get rid of Noah and his barbaric practices?
