There's a packet for everyone, whether your spice tolerance is more like Mild or Avocado Verde Salsa, or if you like to live life on the edge with its Fire or Diablo sauces. Now, the chain is adding one more sauce to the lineup: Disha Hot Hot Sauce.The Disha Hot Hot Sauce packet is part of a collaboration with musician Omar Apollo. The partnership was actually teased way back in February at Taco Bell's Live Más Live 2024 event, where it was also announced that its hot sauce packets were getting a new look. Notably, that event was also where collaborations like the Cheez-It Crunchwrap Supreme and Mountain Dew Baja Blast Gelato were announced.The hot sauce packet marks a first-of-its-kind partnership for Taco Bell, but it's about so much more than a sauce, of course. The brand also recognizes it as an opportunity to highlight a trailblazing Mexican-American musician, Omar Apollo, by sharing his family’s secret hot sauce recipe. It was the house sauce at El Super Taco, the restaurant Apollo's parents opened after emigrating from Guadalajara."Everyone’s family has that one recipe they believe is worth sharing with the rest of the world, for me it’s Disha Hot Hot Sauce," said Apollo in a press release.The sauce features a blend of roasted tomatillos, white vinegar, peppers, onions, tomatoes, lime juice, and a family-secret spice blend. To commemorate the new addition to Taco Bell’s sauce packet lineup, fans can also enjoy the limited-edition Disha Hot Discovery Box. The Disha Hot Discovery Box includes three Disha Hot Hot Sauce Packets, a Cheesy Gordita Crunch, a Doritos Locos Taco, a Crunchy Taco, chips and nacho cheese sauce, and a medium fountain drink, all for $8.99. Fans can also purchase the Disha Hot Hot Sauce Packets à la carte to add to their Taco Bell favorites for $.20.Both the Disha Hot Discovery Box and sauce packets will be available starting on Sept. 24 for Taco Bell Rewards Members before arriving on menus nationwide on Sept. 26. The Disha Hot Hot Sauce packets are only available while supplies last, so if we know anything about Taco Bell fans, you'll want to try them sooner than later.
