FLORIDA — The end of the work week will be a rainy one, according to the National Weather Service's latest forecast.Amid a 92-degree temperature in Tampa Bay, isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected to roll into the area after 3 p.m. Thursday, the NWS said. There was a 20 percent chance of rainfall as of early afternoon.Though the rain should not pour into nightfall, late Friday morning is forecast to be wet as scattered showers and thunderstorms are anticipated after 11 a.m. New rainfall amounts less than a tenth of an inch are anticipated though thunderstorms could usher in higher amounts of rain, the NWS said.After a moist afternoon, storms are expected to continued into the evening Friday.Floridians in Tampa may look forward to a sunny weekend before the rain returns Monday afternoon. Storms are in the forecast through Wednesday.As for Orlando, residents are experiencing a sunny 95-degree Thursday afternoon before storms arrive into the area Friday. Wind gusts could climb up to 20 mph with an east northeast wind of 5-15 mph.Like Tampa, the weekend will be sunny in Orlando before another round of storms next week.According to the NWS, the Miami area will not escape the raindrops. Storms in the South Florida area should follow a similar pattern of Orlando - arriving into Miami on Friday and skipping the weekend before returning Monday.The NWS did not report potential hazards with the storms.As of around 1:15 p.m. Thursday, the National Weather Service predicted the following forecast for Tampa Bay:This Afternoon: Isolated showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. Sunny and hot, with a high near 96.
