SHOPPERS are desperate to nab an energy-saving essential slashed in price – it’s just £4.99.
The mega deal was spotted at popular chain, Farmfoods, and sparked a frenzy in the aisles.

The Daewoo heated blankets were marked up for under a fiver, when customers have to fork out £20 to buy on Amazon.
Shoppers were also delighted to see the brand’s fan heaters on sale for the same price.
The deals were found at a branch in Maryhill, Glasgow.
Although summer is fast approaching, it is always worth stocking up on these energy-saving essentials while they boast such low price tags.
An eagle-eyed bargain hunter shared the discount on social media.
Their helpful post, uploaded on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group read: “Single and double electric blankets as well as fan heaters £4.99 each Farmfoods.
“Not the right season obviously but a bargain nonetheless! This was Glasgow Maryhill store.”
Another shopper asked their pal: “Grab me the blanket tomorrow please,” in the comment section.
“Wow,” agreed another
A third penned: “Can we go tomorrow please!”
Farmfoods is a Scottish family business that’s been running for the past 60 years.
While they specialise in frozen food, they also sell “groceries, chilled foods, bread, milk, fresh fruit and vegetables along with a range of household items”.
