'Today' Host Dylan Dreyer and Ex Reunite for Rare Family Outing
Today show host Dylan Dreyer, who announced her split from Brian Fichera earlier this month, reunited with her husband for a golf outing over the weekend with their 8-year-old son Calvin.Dreyer, 43, shared a series of happy photos of them, including one that featured all three and sees Fichera striking a funny pose.“Figured out how to do better at @acchampionship … team up with Calvin for a best ball! Dreyer and Fichera also share two other sons: Oliver, 5, and Rusty, 3.The NBC News meteorologist and Today co-anchor had used the same social media platform on July 18 to announce her formal split from Fichera:"For many years I have shared my family with you all — the highs and lows. The ups and downs. And all of the blessings and beautiful memories in between. I am incredibly grateful for the support and love you’e given me through it all. For that reason, I want to share with you that a few months ago, Brian and I made the decision to separate."The July 18 post goes on to state that Dreyer and Fichera "will remain the closest of friends" and "continue to co-parent" their sons. Last year, Dreyer also took to Instagram to share a family update — but this time to celebrate a dozen years of marriage to Fichera. “12 years of marriage and I’m still in my happy place,” Dreyer said in her post. “Sitting on the couch with @fishlense after I took this picture, Brian pointed out that I posted the same thing 2 years ago! Not much has changed and I wouldn’t change a thing. Love you Bri!!”Dreyer and Fichera began dating while working at the same Boston news station. Fichera proposed in 2011, and they tied the knot in the New England city on Oct. 6, 2012.Fichera also works for NBC News, as a producer and freelance cameraman, according to People.
