Good Quality Sea Bass and Bluefish All Over

We had a beautiful day today!! And tomorrow looks like more of the same. Imma leave it at that so I don't jinx us.
Captain Chris Mizurak of the Angler reported an "eh" sea bass bite today, but he did see some quality fish up to 3.5 pounds.
My buddy Eamon "Irish" Carey fished with his brother Martin today and showed him some good fishing on his short trip over the pond from Ireland. Martin caught a big 23.5" flounder that weighed 5.5 pounds, and he joined the team in a 3 man limit of nice sea bass.
Brian Reynolds caught this nice 19.5" spotted sea trout in the back bay.
Lamont Hilbert snuck out the inlet and put some nice sea bass in the boat.
Big Bird Cropper said fishing was good and it showed with this pic of three bluefish and a keeper flounder. Bird said that the bluefish "were all over."
Captain Monty Hawkins of the Morning Star reported a decent sea bass bite on today's trip to the rip.
NE winds finally abated, we tied her loose into a diminishing swell and light fog. A charter; my party wanted to first anchor over a specific piece of reef, deploy a reef block unit and then a special urn made of sand..
Ceremony complete, we paddled on offshore a ways and got to sea bassin.
Wouldn't say they were biting the bottom off the boat, sure wasn't bad either. Wasn't a 'limit the boat' sort of crowd anyway; last chance to fish with Dad sort of day..
And we did.
Peter Renzi used a Roy Rig in the OC inlet to catch and release this nice 42” rockfish.
