Toyotarou Can Still Use One Theory to Make Dragon Ball GT Canon, Give Vegeta and Goku Their Strongest Ever Super Saiyan Forms
Dragon Ball GT is often not as popular as Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super. Despite it introducing a whole different ballgame of multiple timelines, fans consider it a somewhat less sophisticated version of the franchise.
Because the story was not created by Akira Toriyama, its authenticity is often under scrutiny. One of the most famous scenes in the anime is the Super Saiyan 4 power-up attained by Goku.
Why are Dragon Ball GT and Super Saiyan 4 Not Canon?

Dragon Ball GT is not considered canon because it is the brainchild of Toei Animation, not Akira Toriyama. While the author has respected the series, provided some sketches, and praised it a few times, it is not enough to call GT canon.
Super Saiyan 4, a devastatingly powerful form was attained by Goku during Dragon Ball GT. It is an amalgamation of Super Saiyan and the Golden Great Ape. However, it is also considered non-canon since it was created by Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, Toei’s character designer.

The state grants primal power to Saiyans along with super strength and unimaginable speed. Due to the intense power-up, the user needs a calm clever mind to maintain Super Saiyan 4, or they would turn extremely cold and aggressive.
How can Toyotarou Make Dragon Ball GT Canon?

There is only one way to make Dragon Ball GT Canon: by introducing its elements in the currently ongoing Dragon Ball Super manga. Since Akira Toriyama is no longer amongst us, to continue his legendary series, his assistant, Toyotarou has helmed all his responsibilities to help bring Dragon Ball Super to a satisfactory ending.
Thus, it is now in Toyotarou’s hands to include more elements into the main timeline to make them canon. So, of course, what could be a better way to end or continue the anime than to introduce Super Saiyan 4?

Goku and Vegeta are facing stronger enemies as we speak, and Goku’s Ultra Instinct and Vegeta’s Ultra Ego can only go on for so long till they are decrepit. So they will be in urgent need of a power-up pretty soon.

If Akira Toriyama hasn’t already planned the manga’s next move, then Toyotarou can definitely bring back some elements or transformations from another non-canon series to complete Dragon Ball Super.
SUGGESTEDNot Goku or Vegeta, There’s Only One Saiyan in Dragon Ball Super Who Can Potentially Unlock Super Saiyan 4
If it is not possible to include Goku in the current timeline of Dragon Ball Super there is another way! During the Future Trunks Saga, Beerus never awakened and all hell got loose. The same Future Trunks timeline could be reintroduced and Super Saiyan 4 could debut. This way, it’s a win win for everyone.
