San Diego Humane Society Slashes Adoption Fees To 'Clear The Shelters'
SAN DIEGO, CA — San Diego Humane Society is slashing adoption fees in an effort to "Clear the Shelters" this August.As part of the nationwide Clear the Shelters campaign, the nonprofit organization is reducing adoption fees by 50% all month long to help pets find their forever families. Additionally, all adoption fees will be waived on Aug. 23 during a special Clear the Shelters Day adoption event."Adopting a pet doesn't just change their life — it changes yours in the best possible way," said Dr. Gary Weitzman, president and CEO of San Diego Humane Society. "Every animal in our care has the potential to become someone's best friend, and right now, they're simply waiting for that chance.
