NEENAH, Wis. – A slow morning shifted into a heated battle to stay above the elimination line during Thursday’s Knockout Round on Lake Butte des Morts at the Knighten Industries Heritage Cup Presented by Berkley, the second event of the fall edition of the 2024 General Tire Team Series Presented by Bass Pro Shops.
As for when the pace picked up, that was a different story for each team. A two-horse race between Team Builders FirstSource (Alton Jones Jr. and Alton Jones) and Team Star Tron (Martin Villa and Grae Buck) transformed into a game of musical chairs between Team Star Tron and Team Smokey Mountain Herbal Snuff & Pouches once Casey Ashley and Terry Scroggins found a honey hole of their own.
