Hugh Jackman jumped into a stranger’s car to get away from a chaotic mob of fans in New York City.
According to a video obtained by Page Six, the “Wolverine” actor staged a crazy getaway after his matinee performance of “Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes” at the Minetta Lane Theatre.
While Jackman was swarmed by a crowd of anxious fans who wanted selfies and autographs, he flagged down a random black car.

Per the Daily Mail, the show, which debuted on Broadway in January, has slashed ticket prices to $98 for Friday’s show and $60 for Saturday’s matinee.
The best seats in the house are available for $212, which is a bargain compared to Paul Simon’s nearby show at the Beacon Theatre, where tickets are selling for up to $680.
The decreased prices come just weeks after Jackman’s estranged wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, filed for divorce from the actor nearly two years after they announced their split.
