Joan Vassos is on the cruise of a lifetime in Europe. So far, the cruise has taken her to the Italian cities of Rome, Palermo, and Malta. She isn’t alone on the trip but her companion isn’t her fiance, Chock Chapple. Joan reunited with her Golden Bachelor friend Nancy Hulkower for the overseas vacation.

Nancy was recently seen on Season 10 of Bachelor In Paradise. While she had a fun date with Gary Levingston, she left the show single.
The ladies just wanted to have a relaxing time together. But Joan Vassos’ social media followers had a very serious question: Where is her fiance, Chock Chapple? Her posts about the cruise were flooded with questions.

She Addresses Fans Over Separation From Chock
The questions about her fiance were so relentless that Joan Vassos felt she had to address them. She posted a video on Instagram addressing the separation.
The answer is pretty simple. Chock Chapple is on an epic vacation of his own. He went to Africa with his son Tyler to celebrate his son’s graduation from college. She assured fans that they are still together and already have flights booked to reunite after her girls’ trip.
Chock explained more about why his trip to Africa was delayed.
“Girls trip- I support this 1000%!!! My son, Tyler and I had a blast in Africa. We had this trip planned for 4 years and were delayed due to Covid and his college graduation last year. Tyler accepted a career job right after school and scheduling was a slight challenge due to the Joan’s show last year and a few commitments on my end,” he wrote in the comments.

One reason why fans are concerned when Chock and Joan aren’t together is because of their unique relationship. Despite getting engaged in 2024, they don’t live together.

They aren’t in a rush to get married, either. The Golden Bachelorette couple was on the Golden Happy Hour podcast a few months ago.
“We are in a good place. We don’t need to have a wedding certificate to say that we are in a good place,” they said about their lack of urgency to tie the knot.
Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple will reunite soon. They will also finally take the trip to Disneyland this fall. ABC gifted the couple and their extended families an all-expenses-paid trip to the theme park.
