The Bell & Ross BR-03 Horizon Brings a Piece of the Cockpit to the Wrist
Bell & Ross is broadening its watch offerings with a new BR-03 model. Dubbed Horizon, the timepiece transposes one of the most recognizable instruments in an aircraft cockpit to the wrist.Boasting an eye-catching duotone dial, the watch face borrows it's striking yey simplistic design from gyroscopes — a tool that was used as a device for measuring or maintaining orientation and angular velocity, especially when handling flights with zero visibility. The upper dial comes in sky blue, while the lower half of the dial boasts a matte black to symbolize the ground. The central disc of the dial provides an indication for reading the hour, a solid-white hand for minutes and a stripey monochrome hand for seconds.Encased in Bell & Ross’s signature square case with a round bezel, crafted from microblasted black ceramic. Measuring 41mm in width, the timepiece runs on the BR-CAL.327 movement, complete with 54 hours of power reserve.Releasing as a limited edition of 999 pieces, the BR-03 Horizon is currently available to shop through Bell & Ross’ website for $4,500 USD.Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
