This means that various iconic characters may not wield guns or participate in the fast-paced battles that players have come to love about the game. Persson explained that many IPs within Disney are not mature enough, so their using guns is not appropriate for obvious reasons. Persson’s exact words were:
Some IPs are not teen IPs or mature IPs. They are E for everyone IPs.
From the looks of it, there will be brand guidelines dictating how its characters can interact within this universe. This raises questions about whether Fortnite’s unique gameplay, characterized by its blend of shooting and building mechanics, will be diluted to accommodate a broader, friendlier narrative.
