Meghan Markle Shares Son Prince Archie’s Sweet Advice Ahead of Her Upcoming Netflix Series

Meghan Markle has had a lot on her plate. Along with being the best partner and parent she can be, the Duchess of Sussex is busy getting ready to release her Netflix Series, With Love, Meghan, and is navigating the major rebrand of her lifestyle company, As Ever. Even her 5-year-old son Prince Archie has realized just how much his mom is up to (even if he might not fully get it).
In a new interview with People, Markle told the story about a recent night when she was cuddling with a sick and sleepy Prince Archie, who she shares with husband Prince Harry along with their 3-year-old daughter Princess Lilibet.
She had her phone in her hand, catching up on emails about her company and her upcoming series when Archie woke up and gave the entrepreneur some invaluable advice.
“[He said], ‘Mama, don’t work too hard,'” Markle said. “It was the sweetest thing.”

How cute is that? The young royal wanted his mom to remember to rest too. And while she might not always remember to do that, it’s clear that the Duchess always remembers her kids while she’s working. When she changed the brand “American Riviera Orchard” to “As Ever,” she threw in some sweet nods to her kids.
First, there’s the company’s landing page, which has a rare and heartwarming photo of Princess Lilibet “Lili” Diana. And then there’s the company’s logo: Two hummingbirds and a palm tree. Devout fans quickly realized the way the design honors the men in Markle’s life.
In the 2021 docuseries, Harry & Meghan, there was a sweet moment where Markle, Prince Harry, and Prince Archie watched some hummingbirds at their home. “We won’t get a chance to be this close to hummingbirds ever again,” Prince Harry told his son, per The Tatler, “because they’re scared of humans.”
“Papa is a birdwatcher, so this is a really big moment for him,” Markle continued.
As for the palm tree, several years ago, Markle told The Cut that one of the first things her husband saw when they toured their sprawling Montecito property was two palm trees connected at the bottom, per Page Six.
“My love, it’s us,” the former senior royal said.
“Now every day when Archie goes by [the trees], he says, ‘Hi Momma. Hi, Papa,” Markle told the publication. And now we have to wonder, does he remind the trees not to work too hard too?
