The Sandringham Estate has been owned by the royal family since 1862 and Park House sits on the grounds.
The house was the birthplace of Princess Diana and she lived there with her family until 1975.
The Spencers then moved to Althorp House in Northampton.
Years later in April 1987, Park House became a hotel when Queen Elizabeth II gifted Park House to Leonard Cheshire Disability.
Park House was then turned into a hotel specifically designed to cater for people with disabilities.
The hotel offered short breaks for disabled individuals and their companions and carers.
Inside were specially adapted rooms with red lined staircases, big fireplaces, flowery bedspreads and well-pruned gardens.
Park House Hotel remained open until November 2020 when it closed due to pressure from the pandemic.
It was a popular place with lots of frequent guests being disappointed with its closure.
One wrote on Tripadvisor: “So sad to say goodbye. Yet another wonderful stay at this unique hotel with great people and cared for by the best team of people I have ever met you have all been a valued part of our lives.

They continued: “To all the staff thank you for looking after us so well, especially John, for the last 10 days. We are so sorry that the men and women in suits don’t value you all as much as the guests do. You will be missed.”
Another added that it was a “haven for people living with a disability”.
Since then, the hotel has sat completely empty with no furnishings whatsoever.
For fans of the royal family, there’s a nearby Norfolk was a favourite holiday spot for the royal family.
The Queen Mother, Queen Elizabeth II, King Charles III and more recently Prince William and Kate Middleton have been seen at Holkham.

It’s no surprise Holkham has been the best beach location for the royals because it is a 36-minute drive from the Sandringham Estate.
It is also just half an hour from Prince William and Kate’s country home at Anmer Hall.
Holkam Beach is dog-friendly and along the coast, you can explore the pretty seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea.
Other popular beaches in the area include Old Hunstanton Beach and Cromer Beach.
Here’s how you can stay the night on the Queen’s Sandringham estate.
And check out this other English village where Princess Diana used to go on holiday as a child where you can spot seals from the beach.
