3 Charged In Burglary Pattery Across Nassau Since February: Police

MINEOLA, NY — Three men have been arrested and charged in connection to a burglary spree in since February in Nassau County, police said. John William Murillo Herrera, 51, of Queens; Carlos Julio Velandia Garcia, 52, undomiciled; and Andres Perez Anzures, 46, of Brooklyn, were spotted breaking into numerous vehicles and removing money after the victims withdrew money from a bank, police said.After an investigation, detectives located the men and placed them in custody without incident, police said.Herrera and Garcia are charged with second-degree and third-degree criminal mischief, petty larceny and two counts of fourth-degree grand larceny. Herrera also has an outstanding bench warrant from New Jersey. Anzures is charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and third-degree criminal mischief.
