Best Halloween Horror Nights Food and Drinks 2024 – Devilish Delights
The time for sinking your teeth into devilish delights at Halloween Horror Nights has arrived. This popular Halloween event, which takes place at Universal Studios Florida on select nights from August 30 through November 3, features 10 haunted houses, plenty of scare zones and gore, and some pretty amazing food and beverage offerings.
Now that HHN 2024 has kicked off, many brave souls have ventured to Universal Studios Florida with a hunger for horror. We visited HHN on opening night to taste as much of this year’s food and drinks as possible. We've got plenty of picks for the best food at Halloween Horror Nights 2024, along with a list of more items we hope to try when we return to the fog in the coming weeks.
Halloween Horror Nights Best Food
Here are some of the best dishes we tried on opening night of Halloween Horror Nights 2024. From a Stay Puft Marshmallow Man s’more guests are lining up for to an easy-to-carry ropa vieja walking taco, there’s are so many must-try food items in the HHN 2024 line-up that you may want to plan to visit the iconic Halloween event more than once.
Mini Stay Puft S’More
The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man is beloved by all fans of the Ghostbusters franchise. This more hand-held version features a toasty Stay Puft marshmallow atop a chocolate bar and graham cracker.
(Available in the New York area at Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire kiosk for $6.99.)

The Red Door
This Insidious-themed hand pie is reminiscent of an Indian food samosa. A red-door-shaped hand pie filled with potato and onion filling, it’s among our favorite treats of the evening.
(Available in the New York area at Insidious: The Further kiosk for $9.49.)
Heart Beet Tostada
Universal Orlando does a great job offering vegetarian and vegan options, even for its special events. This tostada contains red beet tartare, hummus, vegan feta cheese, and watercress, all on a crispy tortilla.
(Available in the Hollywood area at Monstruos: Monsters of Latin America kiosk for $7.49.)

Pork Carniceria
These slow-roasted pork tacos were served with mole sauce and cabbage slaw and were just as tasty as their vegan counterparts.
(Available in the Hollywood area at Monstruos: Monsters of Latin America kiosk for $8.99.)
Abbott’s Farm Corn Chowder
We were unsure about soup at Halloween Horror Nights but this flavorful corn chowder was really delicious. With shrimp, roasted corn, and other veggies, the creamy chowder was something we kept going back for more bites of.
(Available in the New York area at A Quiet Place kiosk for $8.99.)
Ropa Vieja Walking Taco
Walking tacos are a popular item each year at HHN and the 2024 version did not disappoint. Served in a Doritos bag, the taco is made up of ropa vieja beef, salsa roja, sour cream, lettuce, and Monterey jack cheese and is both filling and delicious.
(Available in the Hollywood area at Slaughter Sinema 2 kiosk for $13.99.)

Halloween Horror Nights Must-Try Food Items
Between 10 haunted houses, five scare zones, and a show, we by no means had time to try every food HHN 2024 has to offer, or even to visit every single kiosk. Luckily, we’ll return many more times this season and plan to try the following tasty treats.
African Lentil and Potato Sambusa Coffin
Another hand-pie in this year’s HHN line-up, this Major Sweets-inspired pastry is made from vegan-friendly dough and is filled with potato and spiced lentils.
(Available in the San Francisco area at Major Sweets Candy Factory kiosk for $8.99)
Slimer’s Korean Corn Dog
This Korean cheese dog is made with Fritos and coated in Cheetos dust powder, ghost pepper spice, derby sage cheese, and mozzarella.
(Available in the New York area at Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire kiosk for $11.99)
Goblin Pie
One of our favorite haunted houses at HHN 2024 was Goblin’s Feast, so we can’t wait to try this dessert: a mini apple pie with cinnamon sugar and bloody raspberry jam.
(Available in the World Expo area at Goblin’s Feast kiosk for $5.99)
Bloody Goody Bag
The Triplets of Terror house features Universal Orlando’s original slasher story about three siblings who commit a series of murders every year on their birthday. Because no party is complete without a good goody bag, we can’t wait to try this combo of crispy chicken chunks, fries, peppers, onions, and bloody good sauce.
(Available in the Springfield area at Triplets of Terror kiosk for $9.99)
Forbidden Falafel
A warm pita stuffed with crispy falafel, cucumber tomato salad, and tzatziki, we’re excited to try this Greek-inspired dish at our next visit.
(Available in the New York area at Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines kiosk for $10.99)
