Shaq trolls Drake amid Kendrick Lamar beef
Nearly a week after Kendrick Lamar live-streamed his “Pop Out” concert in Los Angeles, where he debuted his Drake diss tracks live, the 37-year-old Canadian rapper finds himself catching heat from unexpected places. Shaquille O’Neal has now joined in, taking a shot at Drake with a peculiar meme.
On his Instagram story, Shaquille O’Neal shared a humorous photo that quickly went viral. The edited image shows Shaq in blue bikini bottoms, holding a bikini-clad Drake by the buttocks, clearly signaling his support for Kendrick Lamar.
He also used Metro Boomin’s edit of “BBL Drizzy” as the background music for the post. The song alludes to rumors that Drake underwent a Brazilian butt lift, a claim that originated with Rick Ross.

There’s been some confusion about the original photo, but a report suggests it’s from a trip Shaq made to Spain that year. The woman in the picture was identified as Danielle Dilworth, a 27-year-old model, although their relationship wasn’t clarified then.
Drake, while attempting to call out Metro Boomin on “Push Ups,” sang, “Metro shut your hoe ass up and make some drums.”

This wasn’t O’Neal’s first show of support for Lamar. On June 19, the NBA legend attended Lamar’s one-night show, “The Pop Out: Ken and Friends,” in Los Angeles, where other stars like LeBron James, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, and DeMar DeRozan were also present.
Interestingly, Westbrook and DeRozan weren’t just part of the audience; the NBA stars took the stage while Lamar was finishing up his Drake diss tracks.
Shaq’s active engagement on social media and public displays of support indicate his clear backing of Lamar in the ongoing feud with Drake. This rivalry has garnered the interest of notable sports personalities, showcasing how the conflict between the musicians has expanded beyond the realm of music into broader public attention.
Snoop Dogg’s praise
O’Neal recently used his social media platform to convey his admiration for Lamar, sharing a heartfelt message from Snoop Dogg that commended Lamar’s talent for unifying people. This message came in response to Lamar’s Juneteenth concert, where 25 Los Angeles artists came together, receiving significant attention and acclaim.
Snoop Dogg’s message highlighted the importance of unity and harmony, praising Kendrick Lamar for orchestrating an event that symbolized leadership and influence within the West Coast hip-hop community.
“K Dot, you are the king of the West. That’s stuff kings do — they unite,” said Snoop.
Shaq’s idea for the Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef
Back in April “The Big Podcast” with Adam Lefkoe, Shaquille O’Neal, along with Gillie the King and Wallo, discussed the Kendrick Lamar-Drake beef. Surprisingly, Shaq proposed a bizarre solution for the rappers to settle their differences.
“If they were smart, they would WWE it out,” Shaq hilariously suggested.
Being a platinum-certified rapper himself, Shaq understands the game. He wasn’t suggesting a physical fight between the rappers but rather a lyrical showdown, possibly in a concert setting.
“Like, ‘Hey, I’m gon’ say something, you say something, then we gonna come out do a show, boom boom and major pay-per-view,” he continued.
Shaq also acknowledged that while the beef between the two rappers may have personal roots, there’s a positive side to it as well. As a fan, the Lakers legend expressed his anticipation for the next response from both artists.
