MLB star Tommy Pham dubbed ‘Mike Tyson’ after bizarre ‘fighting words’ interview following ‘beef’ with Milwaukee Brewers
CHICAGO White Sox outfielder Tommy Pham sent out a warning to his MLB peers after a strange scuffle.
On Sunday, the White Sox and Milwaukee Brewers were playing a tight game when the benches cleared.

The White Sox had two outs in the bottom of the eight, down 4-3.
Pham ran home to score the tying run, but the throw beat him easily and he was tagged out in a collision at the plate.
Brewers catcher William Contreras was thrilled to save his team’s lead, and celebrated right in front of Pham, which didn’t sit well with him.
Pham had to be held back by his teammates after barking at Contreras and trying to get in his face.
While he couldn’t get his words in face-to-face, Pham made sure the media knew exactly how he felt after the game.
“I’m nailed out at home by a mile, I’m going to the dugout and I hear the tough guy with all the hoo-rah s***,” Pham said.
“I’m never starting anything, but I’ll be prepared to finish it.
“There’s a reason I do all kinds of fighting in the offseason. Because I’m prepared to f*** somebody up.
“You can take it as what it is.”
The fight on the field didn’t help the White Sox rally back to a win, and they lost the game 6-3, falling to 15-45 on the year.
The Brewers completed the sweep of the White Sox, and Contreras made it known that he didn’t care about what Pham said.
“I wasn’t really paying attention to what he had to say,” Contreras told the media.
“I was just excited about the play and went back to the dugout.”
This isn’t the first instance of Pham trying to fight another player on the field.
In 2022, Pham slapped opposing player Joc Pederson during batting practice, which he claimed was because of fantasy football.
Home runs and boomsticks
MLB is back in London for a third time this summer when the Philadelphia Phillies take on the New York Mets.
The London Stadium will transform from a football pitch to a baseball field for the June 8 and 9 spectacle.
Fans attending the games can feast on some extravagant ballpark menu items such as boomstick nachos (pictured) and a two-foot boomstick hotdog.
The New York Yankees won both games in 2019 against their rivals the Boston Red Sox.
And the Chicago Cubs split their series with the St Louis Cardinals when the teams faced off in 2023.
Fans were surprised by the most recent outburst from Pham, and made fun of his fighting words on social media.
“Bro thinks he’s a professional boxer relax mike tyson,” one fan said.
“Work on hitting the ball instead of the bag big boy,” another fan said.
“Dude is all talk lmao,” a third fan said.
“Bro thinks people are scared of him,” a fourth fan said.
