Former Colts Player’s Missing Son Found Safe After Two-Week Search, Parents in Custody [Video]
Bryson Muir, the 14-year-old son of former Indianapolis Colts player Daniel Muir, has been found safe after more than two weeks of being reported missing. The Indiana State Police confirmed that Bryson was “safe and well” and has been placed in the custody of the Cass County Department of Child Services. His parents, Daniel and Kristen Muir, along with several others, were detained.
Daniel Muir faces preliminary charges of domestic battery and obstruction of justice, while Kristen Muir faces a charge of obstruction of justice. The investigation is ongoing, and details regarding the others detained have not been released.
The search culminated in a raid on a compound in Logansport, Indiana, involving three SWAT teams, detectives, K9 units, and a bomb squad. The property is owned by the Servant Leader’s Foundation, a nonprofit religious group. The operation, which began early Wednesday morning, was described as peaceful by Sgt. Steven Glass of the Indiana State Police.

Bryson’s grandmother, Cheryl Wright, had reported potential abuse after finding her grandson with severe injuries. She had taken photos of his injuries and contacted the police, accusing Daniel Muir of being responsible.
The police operation was necessitated by the parents’ failure to appear in court, prompting authorities to take action. Bryson had last been seen on June 16 in Cleveland, Ohio, with his mother, Kristen, in a white 2015 Chevrolet Suburban.

Investigators initially struggled to locate Bryson, as his parents were uncooperative. A Silver Alert was issued, indicating that Bryson was in extreme danger and might need medical assistance.
The secluded Logansport property is linked to Straitway Ministries, a Tennessee-based religious group that identifies as Hebrew Israelites. Some have described the group as a cult, and Bryson’s grandmother feared he had been brainwashed by the group and his parents.
Daniel Muir, a former NFL player, signed with the Green Bay Packers in 2007 and later played for the Indianapolis Colts, New York Jets, and Oakland Raiders, among other teams. He last played in the NFL in 2013.The post Former Colts Player’s Missing Son Found Safe After Two-Week Search, Parents in Custody [Video] appeared first on Baller Alert.
