SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — After several years without an official leader, the board of directors of the South Windsor Chamber of Commerce has appointed an interim executive director with a wealth of experience and a track record of success in fostering business growth and community development.Gladys Ortiz, who recently served as president-elect of the board, will step down from that post to assume the duties of overseeing the day-to-day operations of the chamber, implementing strategic initiatives, and fostering collaboration among community business members and stakeholders. She will work closely with the board of directors and staff to advance the organization’s mission and goals."The South Windsor Chamber has been without an executive director for several years, and despite that our chamber has grown in membership and program," Jill McAllister of Tonsha Marketing Agency said.
