Watch moment Big Brother’s Sarah sparks quit fears as she breaks down in tears on first night in the house
Big Brother’s Sarah has sparked fears she could QUIT the show as she broke down on her first night in the house.
Within minutes of tonight’s show starting, the young farmer, 27, from Shropshire, appeared to be struggling as she started crying while in the storage room.
Sarah became emotional on her first night in the house
She was consoled by Rosie in the storage room
Sarah admitted she was ‘overwhelmed’ in the diary room
Both Lily and Sarah admitted to Big Brother that they were not fans of each other
Sarah is among the stars on the show who chose to be on the red team in the launch episode, only to learn they would not be official housemates yet.
Clearly finding it challenging living around all the junk in the storage room, Sarah started crying and was comforted by Rosie.
She later went to the diary room, where she cried again and revealed she was struggling living with loud Chinese Takeaway worker, Lily.
“I am feeling very emotional and I am feeling very overwhelmed. I kust feel like I am the only one that is overwhelmed and the only one that is struggling a bit,” she confessed, admitting that “being a non housemate probably doesn’t help.”
She then went on to admit Lily was jarring to live with.
“I find Lily sensory overload. Surely you can’t be like this all the time, just running around screaming because how do you get any work done or like normal life?,” Sarah pondered.
“You don’t get a normal conversation back, you just get a reaction… I want to build like a human connection with her. It is a bit irritating at the moment if it carries on like this. It will be interesting to see what lays beneath.”
For her part, Lily doesn’t seem to be a fan of Sarah either.
Lily mocked Sarah and her accent during her own diary room visit, and admitted “Sorry, I don’t like Sarah.”
Fans watching along at home took to social media, where they suggested Sarah may walk.
One said: “Get Sarah outta here…..she’s not built for this.”
Another added: “Sarah babe you knew what you signed up for, it might not be the show for you I fear.”
A third has less patience, ranting: “Sarah struggling. Ffs,its been a few hours. Just quit if its so hard.”
Before entering the house, Sarah told ITV she was hoping for a “rest” in the house – which may explain why she has struggled around Lily.
Asked what she was looking forward to the most about being a housemate, she said: “A bit of a rest, to be honest. I’m looking forward to not having a phone. Chilling out.”
Big Brother continues tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
