She shared her birthing story on YouTube and detailed all that she went through in the moments leading up to delivery. Jessa was in labor for over seven hours but maintained that it was a beautiful experience. She further praised her mother, Michelle Duggar, for being an incredible support system during the whole labor and delivery. It seemed that Jessa’s husband, Ben, had never cut the cord for her previous births. Therefore, she felt that this was something he should do, but he has a weak stomach, so Jessa asked her sister, Jordyn, to do it.
She had never been there for one of Jessa Duggar Seewald’s deliveries, so this was the perfect time for her to be fully immersed in the experience. This created a beautiful moment for the siblings and took the pressure off Ben. However, it did seem like Mama Michelle may be the one to cut the cord after all she had done.
