Livermore Hosts Little League Intermediate 50/70 Baseball World Series
LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore takes center stage as it again hosts the Intermediate 50/70 Baseball World Series, which began Sunday, July 27 and lasts until Sunday, Aug. 3. Livermore’s Max Baer Park will host six American Intermediate Little League teams and six Intermediate Little League teams from across the world. All players are ages 11-13. In 2024, the team from Kenner, Louisiana beat the team from Seoul, South Korea, the latter of whom are returning to Livermore this year. Last year, Livermore’s team played in its hometown and came within striking distance of winning, before losing to the Kenner team in the championship game. In 2022, the Danville team won the entire World Series. Games can be viewed on ESPN+. See here for a full schedule. This year’s Little League World Series made international news for reasons other than baseball.
