NFL stars on red alert as league reveals plan to announce the 2025 schedule

By JAKE NISSE
The NFL appears less than a month away from announcing its schedule for the 2025 season, as a league higher-up revealed in a recent interview.
The Draft will run from April 24-26, and the schedule reveal will come soon after according to NFL VP of broadcast planning and scheduling Mike North.
North appeared on the It's Always Gameday in Buffalo podcast earlier this month and told listeners that the league was 'probably' targeting May 13, 14 or 15 for the schedules to be announced.
That date would be consistent with the timing of last year's schedule release, which occurred on May 15.
While the schedules are not yet known, each team does know its 2025 opponents (without dates), with the defending-champion Eagles set to face a grueling slate including the Rams, Lions, Chiefs, Packers. Bills and Vikings in addition to their usual NFC East foes.
It's also known that the Eagles will kick off the season on Thursday, September 4, though their opponent for Week 1 has yet to be announced.
Last season's finale saw Jalen Hurts and the Eagles beat Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in the Super Bowl
Josh Allen's Bills will face both the Eagles and Chiefs at some point during the 2025 season
Meanwhile, the Chiefs will look to rebound from their Super Bowl LIX loss to Philly and face regular season matchups against the Bills, Ravens and Lions.

Furthermore, the NFL will hold a record number of international games in 2025.
There will be seven games played across sites in the United Kingdom, Brazil, Berlin, Madrid and Ireland.
Until then, the NFL community will be focused on the Draft, which begins in exactly a week's time.
Quarterback Cam Ward appears likely to go No. 1 overall to the Titans, though much of the first round is unclear after that.
