Rising Impact Season 1 Previews Main Theme in 1st Official Trailer
Netflix has released the first official English subbed trailer for the upcoming first season of Rising Impact, which previews the main theme “gifted” by Japanese rock band BLUE ENCOUNT. Season one begins streaming on Netflix on June 22, 2024, while the second season will debut on August 6, 2024.
Hitoshi Nanba (Golden Kamuy, Tomo–chan Is a Girl!) is directing the anime series, with Michihiro Tsuchiya (Major series screenwriter) as screenwriter and scriptwriter, Studio DURIAN′s Kiyotaka Oshiyama (Flip Flappers director, Chainsaw Man devil designer) as character designer, and Masaru Yokoyama (Horimiya) as music composer. Lay-duce is handling the animation production.

The anime adaptation is based on the golf manga series by The Seven Deadly Sins creator Nakaba Suzuki. It was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from November 24, 1998 to February 19, 2002 for a total of 17 tankobon volumes. The series was supposed to end in 1999, but reader response led to its return around three months later.
New editions of the manga were released beginning May 2, 2024, with more volumes expected throughout the summer.

Netflix describes the synopsis of Rising Impact as:
In Rising Impact, Gawain Nanaumi is a third-grader with an incredible love for baseball and making the ball really fly. In a chance encounter with a female professional golfer, Kiria Nishino, he learns that golf will allow him to hit a ball further than any other sport.
Using his physical strength and keen observational skills gained from living in a rural mountain area, he manages to hit the ball to such an impressive distance that it rivals even that of professionals. With Kiria’s help, the new golf enthusiast enrolls at Camelot Academy, a prestigious school for both skilled and aspiring golfers from around the world. Gawain wants to be the best professional golfer in the world but there are other golf prodigies with extraordinary skills that stand in his way and he has to face various trials to overcome them.
