In the wake of Telegram CEO Pavel Durov’s recent arrest in France, a new point of emphasis emerged today. France Seeks To Arrest Telegram Co-Founder Nikolai Durov
A recent report from Politico revealed that upon close examination of an administrative document, it was found that French authorities issued arrest warrants for both Pavel and Nikolai Durov long back on March 25. This administrative document also pointed out that the investigation into the networking app began months earlier than the arrest.
The case primarily aligns with the networking app’s previous refusal to cooperate with the French police in a child sex abuse inquiry. Subsequently, Pavel Durov was arrested last week, and authorities are now cracking down on his brother Nikolai.
Although it’s worth mentioning that Nikolai’s location remains unknown, French authorities are still proceeding with investigations. The administrative document further outlines “Telegram’s almost non-existent cooperation” with authorities.
Also, speculations over crypto coach Julia Vavilova‘s involvement in the Telegram CEO’s arrest surfaced across the industry recently. Nevertheless, the UAE’s latest decision to suspend a whopping $10 billion deal with France following Pavel’s arrest has ignited sentiments of his imminent release.
Meanwhile, a recent video clip on X shows a tinted car drove out of the Parisian pre-trial detention center, sparking speculations over Pavel’s presence in the vehicle. French media confirmed that Telegram CEO was brought to court today. Further developments on the matter remain eagerly awaited.

Toncoin (TON) Price Takes Heat
Simultaneously, in tandem with the arrest warrant against Nikolai Durov, Toncoin (TON) dropped again. TON price today traded at $5.44, a 0.43% decline in the past 24 hours. The intraday low and high are $5.15 and $5.63, respectively.
The waning price movement also impacted due to a recent network outage on the TON blockchain that halted block processing activity. After nearly six hours of stagnancy, the blockchain resumed operations and was back online, resuming block processing and other activities network-wide.
