Hugh’s best known for his role in period drama Downton Abbey, where he played Lord Grantham.
He took on the role of Henry Brown in the much-loved two Paddington films in 2014 and 2017.
The beloved actor also played hapless BBC Head of Values Ian Fletcher in sitcom W1A, which spoofed the leadership culture within the organisation.
But Hugh got his biggest break when he starred alongside Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts in the huge rom-com Notting Hill.
Sitting alongside him on the TV news sofa as his co-presenter Madeline is Doctor Who and Marvel star Karen Gillan.
The Scottish star is possibly best known for playing Nebula in a number of the films from the much loved superhero series.
